Schedule, Hotel & FAQ for the
2006 Baseball Express Cape Cod High School Classic

Roster as of July 20, 2006

About The Opportunity
Each player is one of just 36 players nationwide chosen for this prestigious opportunity. The players will get to play in front of a large contingent of Scouting Directors, National Crosscheckers, major College Coaches and other baseball decision-makers. There were 85 influential scouts and college coaches from major Division I programs at last year's game. The players will also get to experience historic Cape Cod and will be honored on the field during the pre-game activities of the Cape Cod League College All-Star game, which annually attracts over 5,000 fans and the nation's top college prospects. The Cape Cod League had 198 alumni in the Major Leagues during the 2005 season.

Families & Friends
We encourage all families to attend. Families that attend will need to have their own car and hotel room. Hotel information appeared at the top of this page. If a player comes by himself our staff will pick him up from the airport.

Airports
The closest airport is Providence, Rhode Island - which is about a 40 minute drive to Wareham. The following airlines fly into Providence (American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, United, US Air and others). The Providence Airport's website is www.pvdairport.com.. Boston's Logan Airport is approximately 2 hours from Wareham.

Arrival & Departure
We understand July is a busy time for all players and families. We will work with you regarding special arrival and departure times if needed. We would like all players to arrive Wednesday, July 26 between noon-8 pm. The players will workout and scrimmage in front of scouts on Thursday, then play in the game Friday. On Saturday, all players will attend the Cape Cod League College All-Star Game. We would prefer players leave Sunday. If they need to rejoin their summer team earlier, just let us know.
